Summit Racing™ mini starter adapters enable the installation of compact, high-torque, gear-reduction starters onto engines, offering better clearance for headers, reduced weight, and superior cranking power. They serve to allow a compact, high-torque mini starter to fit an early Chevy 265 engine. The adapter plate is CNC-machined from billet aluminum and replaces the mounting block on the mini starter with the bolt pattern of the early starter.
