Trail-Gear Skid Plates
Twin transfer cases not only open up new avenues for off-roading, but make the long scary descents of the past feel like child's play. Now it's time to protect your investment with Trail Gear skid plates. These crossmember skids use 3/8 in. thick steel plate with tapered bolts to fight off the most serious abusers. They work with 4 or 5-speed manual transmissions, but are not intended for automatic transmission applications. With the extra torque of twin cases Trail Gear built these crossmembers with slotted mounting holes pre-drilled allowing a total of four mounting points instead of just two.
