The FSD (Frequency Selective Dampening) shocks are firm for control over long bumps and corners, but soft for comfort over expansions joints and rough roads. These shock components have an extra valve that controls oil flow parallel to the piston assembly, giving the vehicle a smooth ride. At low frequencies, FSD shocks are able to make a significantly greater amount of force than conventional shocks—which controls bouncing, body roll, and brake drive. During high frequencies, the shocks generate dramatically lower forces for a
