Receiver hitch ball mounts slide into the square-tube receiver on your vehicle’s trailer hitch, and can include a hitch ball or accommodate 1 7/8", 2", or 2 5/16" balls. They are typically available in four different square shank sizes: 1 1/4" for Class 1 and 2 hitches, 2" for Class 3, 4, and 5 hitches, and 2 1/2" and 3" for Class 5 hitches.
