Summit Racing Equipment carries rack and pinion steering conversion kits so you can bolt on the modern precision and road feel that’s missing in your old-school steering box. Plus, rack and pinion steering systems are lighter, which improves weight distribution and handling, and most kits install with no permanent modifications to your vehicle.

Kits are available for GM and Ford cars and trucks, with and without power assist. A typical kit includes a steering rack, mounting cradle/bracket, tie rods, and hardware....
