For stock or high performance, S&S hydraulic tappets offer significant design improvements to withstand the forces, reduce the stress, and solve the possibility of oil starvation. S&S hydraulic tappets feature larger inner bearing races, an improved inner race-roller design, a redesigned and stronger plunger assembly, and revised metering devices for precise oil delivery control. Full-travel hydraulic or solid roller lifters are machined from a steel body for large-lift camshafts in standard or oversized OD applications.
