ICON Premium forged pistons are designed to be application specific and are made from either 4032 or 2618 aluminum. 2618 aluminum has a lower silicon content and is better suited for engine combinations with high compression or a power adder, they also offer an increased rate of thermal expansion. ICON Premium forged anodized piston and ring kits include all the features of an FHR piston, with the addition of an anodized top ring groove and crown, precision CNC-machined valve reliefs and crown features, pressure fed pin bore oiling, and skirt and pin boss struts for increased strength and durability. ICON Premium forged piston and ring kits include pistons and ring stack. Select the kit designed for your build. Additional features: * Mini grooves * CNC-machined valve reliefs and crown * Diamond CNC-turned skirts * Accumulator groove * Dual forced pin oiling * Lateral gas ports on high-compression designs * Spacer rings provided for shorter compression height pistons
