The pans feature a deep sump design, which keeps more oil stacked over the pickup, making it harder for air to be pulled by the pickup, even under very rough conditions. Canton Racing Marine Wet Sump Oil Pans
Canton Racing marine series oil pans are designed and built to withstand the unique conditions found in marine applications. They are constructed from 14-gauge steel to eliminate stress cracking. Built with high-capacity sumps to combat heat and add longevity to the oil, they are powdercoated and use brass plugs for corrosion protection. These marine series oil pans feature 1/2 in. NPT oil drain fittings on each side and trap door baffles and windage trays to prevent oil slosh from the motion of the boat.
