These tools have an easy-to-read LCD display (mounted on a sturdy stainless steel body) and feature a zero-setting at any position to allow you to make easy outside, inside, step, and depth measurements—which read in .001 in. increments, as well as fractions. The calipers are powered by an included 1.5 V button cell battery, and are equipped with an automatic shut-off function which helps preserve battery life.
