Sierra Marine propeller shaft packing is designed to protect your boat's propeller shaft and prevent overheating or leaks. This square cross-sectioned rope is packed or wound tightly around the propeller shaft, and compressed in place with a threaded nut and spacer providing a leak-free environment. The packing can be easily cut to proper length from either 3 ft. sections or 1 lb. spools available in a variety of diameters (thicknesses) to fit your specific application.
