Powermatic 8 in. Jointers

The Powermatic 8 in. Jointers meet the demands for accuracy while combining unique, user-friendly functions. The infeed table lever can be used to rapidly position table height, then the handle rotated for fine-adjustment of cut depth. Fence tilting is accomplished by a worm gear system, smoothly operated by a simple handwheel. The tables provide 73 in. long extended support. A non-mar insert in the fence protects the table from scratches during adjustments. The 8 in. jointers are available with a three knife cutterhead, or a helical cutterhead with four-sided knife inserts. Powermatic 6 in. Jointers

The Powermatic 6 in. Jointers are designed and built to provide precision and dependability. The machines' all-steel base cabinet provides stable footing for the jointer and puts the table surface at a comfortable 32 in. above the floor. The one-horsepower, one-Ph, 115 V motor is mounted within the cabinet and can be converted to use 230 V power. It's also located on a special mount within the base cabinet for easy belt-tension adjustments. The 66 in. long adjustable infeed and outfeed beds mounted on dovetailed ways for workpiece support. The 20 in. Powermatic WP2510 Planers have a solid steel helical cutterhead with 174 four-sided carbide knife inserts that require no adjustments when changing. With a digital readout and simple PC controller, setting up table heights is quick and easy.
