Pacific Performance Engineering GM 3.0L Duramax Air-to-Water Intercooler Kits

Pacific Performance Engineering GM 3.0L Duramax air-to-water intercooler kits add style and performance to your Duramax. The intercooler is 77 percent less restrictive than the stock GM model, featuring flow-optimized, cast aluminum end tanks and a 2.4 times larger, less restrictive core structure. These features along with their all-aluminum bar and plate-style construction and superior fin layout, PPE intercoolers deliver increased cooling with a cooler and denser charge air that also helps reduce exhaust gas temperature (EGTs), increases fuel efficiency, and lowers the pressure drop. PPE's Duramax air-to-water intercooler kits are completed with a diecast support bracket, a billet aluminum turbo adapter that replaces the turbo resonator, and PPE Performance silicone couplers and coolant hoses. They are available in several finishes. Choose the preferred color for your Duramax.

Mishimoto Universal Single-Pass Air-to-Water Intercoolers

Keeping air intake temperatures low is the key to decreasing the impact of heat soak, reducing detonation, and producing consistent power output. As a result, intercooler systems have evolved substantially over the last decade, bringing liquid-to-air intercoolers into popularity. Mishimoto Universal single-pass air-to-water intercoolers are highly efficient designs that deliver effective cooling in compact packages. Each intercooler features 5mm thick, cast aluminum end tanks that are custom engineered for superb airflow, reducing overall pressure drop through the cooler. The tanks are professionally TIG welded to the cores, resulting in a pressure tolerance of up to 100 psi of boost, plus they feature unique CNC-machined, ribbed inlet and outlet coupler connections, ensuring maximum grip between coupler and piping. They are finish with a durable, micro wrinkle black powdercoat, and they incorporate -16 ORB coolant ports into the core and include 1/8 in. thick steel mounting brackets for an easier install.
