Whether you are hitting the trail, or ripping through the desert, Trail-Gear Performance bump stops will allow you to get the most out of your vehicles suspension by eliminating harsh bottom outs. Offered in 2 in. and 2.5 in. body diameters, the 2.5 in. models will absorb more impact energy and are recommended by Trail Gear for vehicles over 5,000 lbs. or trucks with highly leveraged A-arms or trailing arms. Of course, both sizes are sure to improve your overall off-road experience. Trail-Gear Hydraulic smooth body bump stops are fully rebuildable, easily tunable through the Schrader valve on top, and TG's unique automatic velocity sensitive valving technology saves you time by eliminating the need to adjust shim packs. The bump stops also help prevent damage from occurring to expensive shocks and suspension components by absorbing impacts at full suspension compression. ADS Bump Stops
ADS Racing Shocks offers hydraulic bump stops for a variety of applications—including universal-fit and models for Toyota trucks from 2005 and up. Bump stops are your suspension's last line of defense. They can properly limit suspension movement and save your chassis (as well your own body) from harsh hits or G-outs. ADS hydraulic bump stops are designed to cushion the last few inches of suspension travel, adding a secondary stopping point for axle and tire movement. Utilizing the same piston technology as ADS coilovers allows you to tailor the stopping force the bump stop provides. Their nitrogen charge is also adjustable from 65 – 200 psi, enabling you to dial in the touch off and pressure gain of the bump stop. Icon Vehicle Dynamics Hydraulic Bump Stop Kits
While the factory rear bump stops do a satisfactory job of absorbing impacts on a street-driven truck, ICON found that there was much room for improvement during spirited driving in rough, off-road terrain. The Icon Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tundra rear hydraulic bump stop system was designed to take the off-road capability of the truck to new levels—by significantly improving the bottom-out control of the rear suspension and reducing rear-end kick. Like all ICON hydraulic bumps stops, these feature both velocity and position sensitive technology; which means that as the shaft speed increases and moves through the travel, the force increases exponentially to provide excellent bottoming resistance that won't negatively affect articulation. This hydraulic bump stop system was developed as an OEM replacement, making installation a simple and straightforward bolt-on affair. With no major cutting, welding, or fabrication required, you have the option to return the vehicle back to its stock form.
