Hooker Competition headers are designed for stock or mildly modified engines for the value-conscious buyer. Made from durable 16-gauge steel, Competition headers feature 5/16 in. thick flanges that are heavy enough to maintain header integrity, yet pliable enough to seal each exhaust port. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.

Patriot Clippster headers feature longer primaries that exit toward the rear of the engine compartment to clear steering and suspension components. They have slightly shorter primaries than full length headers and provide ground clearance on lowered vehicles. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts, and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. Finishes available: * Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC), which is polished with a vibratory finishing process that not only produces a high-luster aluminum appearance, but also compresses and activates the coating, which increases the surface hardness. The finish is 60 percent more corrosion-resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier (heat-resistant up to 1,600 degrees F) that significantly lowers underhood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. * Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC. This finish provides good corrosion and heat protection when compared to many of the "cheaper" header finishes. * Raw steel is available for individual customizing

Schoenfeld IMCA Modified adjustable headers allow you to choose the best fitment for your open front-wheel racer. These headers have slip-on collectors to adjust for your engine location. The left side collector may be a Style 3, while your right may be a Style 8, and there are several combinations available, making them easy to fit and replace if damaged! Get the fit, quality, and performance you want at a reasonable price with Schoenfeld IMCA Modified adjustable headers, available for a variety of vehicle and engine application. (Special warning regarding Schoenfeld painted headers only. The paint on these headers is not designed as a final finish; it is designed to protect the headers after the manufacturing process and during shipping. This paint will not withstand the high heat associated with engine break-in, nor will it withstand the heat cycles associated with any type of driving. It is recommended that this protective coating be stripped, and a high-heat paint or coating designed for use on headers be applied.)

You'll have no more blown gaskets, warped flanges, or header exhaust problems with Sanderson blockhugger headers. They feature a patented, leak-free flange design that works! With over 50 years of American-made know-how, Sanderson Headers have one of the tightest engine block fits available. These hand-assembled headers include flanges that are precision laser-cut from 3/8 in. thick steel plate. A weld bead is built up and ground to a uniform thickness that's so precise, all you'll need is a bead of Permatex Ultra Black gasket maker silicone—no gaskets are required! Plus, these headers afford you that extra bit of clearance needed for complex steering setups and narrow frame rails, while still allowing adequate spark plug clearance. The headers are available in a variety of finishes and sizes for fitment on hundreds of applications.

Flowtech headers are designed to provide optimum exhaust flow for increased horsepower, torque, fuel economy, and improved throttle response. Leak-tested for maximum performance, they feature the industry's best welds for durability and are carefully engineered for precise fit. Available for a wide range of applications, they're offered in block hugger, competition, fenderwell, lakester, long tube, mid-length, shorty, upright, and turbo styles. Varying with the application, Flowtech headers are constructed from sturdy and lightweight cold-rolled mild steel or stainless steel for increased strength and durability. All tubing is mandrel-bent to provide consistent tubing diameter for smooth flow and increased exhaust velocity. Extra-thick, machined header flanges provide a leak-free seal and maximum strength. For long-term rust and corrosion-resistance, available finishes include natural and polished stainless steel, high heat-resistant black paint, or a satin silver metallic ceramic thermal barrier coating. All mounting hardware and premium gaskets are included. Important notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage. Flowtech does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty.

Patriot full-length chassis and fenderwell headers provide the ultimate in performance for street rods and musclecars with high performance engines. The key is their use of long primary tubes, which results in more horsepower and torque than those from the competition.
