Convert your truck to a durable, off-road-friendly round bottom setup for better ground clearance and less possibility of damaging the threads. They are designed to accommodate U-bolts that fit a 2 in. thick spring pack in the front, and 2.5 in. thick spring pack in the rear. Using new extra-heavy-duty upper plates to convert your truck to the durable, off-road friendly setup is the right upgrade if you're already buying new U-bolts.
