Axle back systems are installed at or behind the rear axle area, so removal of the intermediate pipe, as well as other mufflers, resonators, and components often isn’t necessary. Your existing factory exhaust system upstream of this is retained, so you don’t need to worry about disconnecting or removing the driveshaft to access the exhaust.

Vehicle Performance
Another benefit of a high-performance axle back exhaust system is improved exhaust flow. By minimizing backpressure and improving the scavenging effect, your engine is able to improve the efficiency with which it expels burnt gases and draws in fresh intake air. That means more power! Materials
When selecting an axle back exhaust, there are numerous materials to choose from. Steel, aluminized steel, and stainless steel are the most common options. Aluminized steel systems are typically the most budget-friendly option but have only minor corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is the most resistant to corrosion, and perfect for vehicles driven in inclement conditions.
