Axle back systems are installed at or behind the rear axle area, so removal of the intermediate pipe, as well as other mufflers, resonators, and components often isn’t necessary. Vehicle Performance
Another benefit of a high-performance axle back exhaust system is improved exhaust flow. Materials
When selecting an axle back exhaust, there are numerous materials to choose from. Steel, aluminized steel, and stainless steel are the most common options. Aluminized steel systems are typically the most budget-friendly option but have only minor corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is the most resistant to corrosion, and perfect for vehicles driven in inclement conditions.
