AEM Electronics Tesla Small Drive Unit Control Boards

AEM Electronics Tesla small drive unit control boards allow you to install a Tesla SDU in any non-OEM application, unlocking complete control when paired with an AEM VCU. The system provides full control of the SDU for programming torque curves, torque limits, regenerative braking, accelerator pedal response, drive-mode switches, and much more.

AEM EV's Tesla inverter control boards act as a VCU expansion device that replaces the stock Tesla ICB. Once connected to an AEM VCU using the supplied communications harness, calibrators can program propulsion strategies and characterize inputs through the VCU using AEMcal software. AEM EV's SDU ICB was co-developed with Cascadia Motion, an industry leader in EV propulsion systems, to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Note: Inverter control boards must be used with an AEM Vehicle Control Unit for programming and controlling a Tesla SDU. This system is designed for conversion and motorsports vehicles with Tesla SDU swaps. It will not control a Tesla SDU in a Tesla OE chassis.
