Palmgren gear head drill presses are versatile all gear-drive drill presses that are ideal for precision-drilling applications and continuous industrial use. The all gear-drive transmission delivers full power at any speed, driving the cutting tools at nearly 100 percent of the available motor horsepower. They use a combination of steel and reinforced fiber gears to ensure positive, quiet operation. All clutches are made of ground steel for added performance and strength. Their wide speed range make Palmgren gear head drill presses ideal for drilling everything from small to large diameter holes quickly and easily.

* Forward and reverse spindle switch
* T-slotted production table and base
* Rack and pinion table raiser
* Front-mounted, dial-adjusted work stop
* Includes chuck guard and work light
* Fully enclosed machine tool spindle with internal Morse Taper (3 or 4 MT depending on model) mounted in precision bearings for maximum accuracy and minimized deflection
