Palmgren Drill Press Guards

Palmgren drill press guards are specially designed to provide full protection from quill to drill point. With smooth telescopic action, the guards collapse as the drill penetrates the work piece, then return to the extended position when the spindle is raised. These units are made from strong, injection-molded, high-impact polycarbonate that offers clear and safe vision. In the operating position, each guard is securely locked in the closed position by a spring-loaded plunger pin assembly. When released, the guard hinges up, allowing instant access for cutting tool and chuck adjustments or changes. Palmgren drill press guards comply fully with all ANSI and OSHA guidelines.
