Organic pad compounds are an economical choice for your basic, daily driven vehicle, providing strong, predictable braking, even when cold and damp. Ceramic pads are a fantastic option as well, as they tend to be quieter, less dusty, and have more stable braking characteristics. Semi-metallic and metallic pads are excellent performance-oriented options, able to dissipate heat while still providing extreme braking performance under demanding loads. In some cases, you can even mix and match front and rear pad types to fine-tune your vehicle’s braking characteristics.
