No tool box or workshop is complete without a selection of assembly lube. As the name suggests, these oils and greases help precision-machined engine and transmission parts slide together without damage during assembly. Some are also formulated to stick around to help lubricate parts during the crucial initial start-up and break-in period, and most will dissolve or wash away harmlessly during normal operation.
Summit also carries other compounds you’ll need for engine and mechanical projects, including anti-seize and thread locking compounds, as well as engine oil and gear oil.
