Your A/C system has a hot, high-pressure side, starting at the discharge valve of the compressor and moving through the condenser and the dryer. Once the refrigerant leaves the metering valve, you’re on the cool, low-pressure side, passing through the evaporator and back out to the compressor. These components are all connected by plumbing that navigates through the engine bay.
