GCX brake rotors features and benefits:

* GEOMET Elemental Protection coating--partial coating on friction surfaces results in 10 percent faster pad bed-in, while eliminating corrosion rings; and full coating on all non-mating surfaces to inhibit rust formation
* Double disc ground braking surface--ensures parallelism, eliminates runout, and provides near perfect disc thickness variation (DTV). Double disc grinding leaves a non-directional finish on the friction surface area for more effective pad-rotor break-in. This special finish also provides quieter and smoother stops.
* Fully machined non-friction surfaces--Premium rotors feature 100 percent fully machined finishes, including rotor hats. This extra process provides better rotor balance, eliminates pulsation, and creates a cleaner, more finished looking component.
* Symmetric vane casting--increased thermal capacity for optimized cooling, as well as safer, smoother braking performance
