The daytime running lights can be configured to run full-time in either white or amber with no compromise in intensity either way. When starting your vehicle, the optics will automatically illuminate in a multi-stage sequence before turning back off. Using a combination of both LED and incandescent bulbs (thus, Hybrid) these offer much of the same amazing features that the original XBs offer, but at a lesser price point. Morimoto XB Hybrid headlights have a powerful, wide, and bright LED low beam projector, and a dedicated LED high beam projector. Their optics were specially developed just for use with the Hybrids to produce an amazing beam pattern. Their LED daytime running light is still insanely bright and easily visible during the day, using components identical to what is in the big-boy versions of the XB lights. They use the same OEM-grade PPS housing, UV coated polycarbonate lens, and offer the same 5-year warranty, too. Morimoto's dual LED projector optics meet and exceed all SAE, DOT, and FMVSS108 regulations when aimed properly, which is easy using the integrated adjusters, and they are designed to work on your truck without any modifications--simply plug-and-play with the factory wiring.
