Competition Clutch steel flywheels are made of 4140 forged steel and are one-piece designs, which helps significantly in reducing the chances of ring gear separation and friction surface warpage. Forged steel flywheels work with all performance and stock clutch assemblies, and can be resurfaced. Competition Clutch lightweight steel flywheels are recommended for naturally aspirated and/or street driven applications. They preserve low-end torque and drivability, and are well suited for Gravity, Stage 1, and Stage 2 clutch applications.

The kits provide up to 250 percent increase in torque capacity. They contain a 6-puck high-torque disc with ceramic buttons that are good for penetrating engagement with higher horsepower applications. Stage 4 clutch kits include a Competition Clutch performance pressure plate, 6-puck torque disc with ceramic buttons, throw-out bearing (where applicable), pilot bearing/bushing (where applicable), and alignment tool.

The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life.
