Autolite Iridium XP Enhanced Alloy Technology Spark Plugs

Autolite Iridium XP enhanced alloy technology spark plugs are one of Autolite's most technologically advanced spark plugs. With an iridium-enhanced 0.6mm fine wire design and proprietary platinum side wire technology, these plugs provide better durability compared to 0.8mm fine wire, multi-electrode design, and standard plugs. Plus, they offer a more focused ignition, for better overall ignitability compared to the average of other premium brands, as well as optimum performance. Additional notes for Autolite Iridium XP spark plugs: * Platinum ground wire for maximum efficiency in all ignition types, including DIS systems * V-trimmed ground electrode for improved ignitability * Heat range precisely set by Ionization Sensing Technology

Holstein Parts Knock Sensors

The knock sensor is able to detect mechanical stress and produces a voltage when the car knocks or pings. Under heavy acceleration, it sends signals to the ECU and the ECU retards the ignition timing to compensate for the knocking, which in effect protects the pistons and rings from damage. Knocking also occurs when using low-grade fuel and having the knock sensor allows you to use different grade fuels without causing engine damage. Holstein Parts focuses on using only the highest quality materials, manufactured to exacting standards for an aftermarket product that is truly built to match or exceed the OE part. Holstein Parts knock sensors line has superior coverage for domestic and import applications.

Beck/Arnley Vehicle Speed Sensors

Replace your worn or malfunctioning vehicle speed sensor with one of these Beck/Arnley vehicle speed sensors. Depending upon your vehicle's equipment, the vehicle speed sensor commonly called a VSS may influence or control more systems than any other single sensor. Early model vehicle speed sensors were just used to regulate the cruise control and control transmission shifts. Now, with OBD-II, vehicle speed is considered a part of the overall engine operating strategies, affecting both fuel delivery and ignition timing. The operations of the idle-air-control valve and canister-purge cycle are regulated, in part, by the VSS. Automatic transmissions need VSS data to provide the best performance and mileage. Torque converter clutch operation is controlled by the VSS. In an electronically shifted transmission, VSS signals, instead of hydraulic pressure in the valve body, are used to determine shift points.
