You can reach them much easier by installing a flip-down/retractable BedStep2 on either side of your vehicle. They mount just behind the cab and forward of the rear wheel, providing fast and safe side access to your truck bed. The brackets are machined from high-strength aluminum alloys with precision stainless steel pivot pins and maintenance-free, self-lubricating bushings. Components are then military-spec anodized and finished with a PTFE coating to resist chips, scratches, and corrosion. AMP Research offers replacement controllers for their PowerStep running boards. These units replace the older style A-04 and A-06 controllers. They are equipped with an additional plug for the optional toggle switch. This controller supersedes all older controllers and will work with all makes and models (excluding 2008-12 Ford Super Duty, 2002-03 Super Duty, and 2009-12 F150). The controller supports the AMP LED lighting kit, as well.

This kit relocates the air tank on Ram Trucks equipped with the stock Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension—which then enables you to add the AMP PowerStep running boards to your ride. The relocation brackets are made from durable steel plate.
