These 4340 chromoly steel rocker bodies feature a longer pivot slot for higher lift camshafts. They're much stronger than stamped steel, so rocker arm flex is negligible. The roller tip minimizes scrubbing from the valve stem pushing forcefully against the valve guide. This reduces friction and frees up an additional 15 to 30 hp over stock models. Melling M-Select Class 1 Camshafts
Melling M-Select Class 1 camshafts are part of their full line of high performance camshafts graded from Class 1 to Class 4. Class 1 camshafts have durations of 200 to 215 degrees at .050 in. lift. They feature good idle quality with strong low-rpm torque and midrange performance. These cams will work well with stock or slightly modified engines with either manual or automatic transmissions. M-Select Class 1 camshafts may have lower vacuum than OE camshafts.
