XDR Magnum Grip Hill Killer gated shifters have an ergonomic design and a modern aggressive look. These gated shifters are designed to be used as a safety device when attempting steep hill climbs. This is accomplished by eliminating the reverse lockout feature of the ratchet gate plate—ensuring quick shifts from forward to reverse gear in an attempt to save the front-end from going over backwards when climbing steep hills. This trick shifter features two shift patterns: standard-gated and "Hill Killer"—designed to be used as a safety device climbing steep hills. Simply drop the shifter down into the lower Hill Killer shift gate, which eliminates the reverse lockout feature of the ratchet gate plate.
