Tremec offers a variety of TKX 5-speed manual transmission for select GM and Ford applications. Each model features different gear ratios. Order the transmission best suited for your vehicle. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. Each transmission goes through a variety of tests to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristic match TCI's strict quality control standards. For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kick-down components must be connected. Each transmission package consists of a triple-tested TCI transmission and precision-tuned torque converter, a universal transmission cooler and premium TCI RTF transmission fluid.
