TCI StreetFighter transmissions are durable enough to withstand the rigors of even the toughest street machines. Equipped with a manual/automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a race track shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off of your ETs. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. When you select the normal drive position, they retain positive automatic shifts for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission.

They feature special heat-treated races and sprags, high-performance clutches and bands, and improved lubrication. TCI Circlematic automatic transmissions are great for oval track use. However, despite the sound of their name, they also can be used for performance marine applications. These stock 4-link axle assemblies allow for the easiest installation of your 4-link system. The 9 in. Ford housings are great foundations for putting torque to the pavement. They feature a webbed center section, internal gussets, thick wall tubes, and billet steel flanges (new-style Big Bearing/Torino). The pinion is offset 1/2 in. and the axle flange is offset 2 1/2 in.
