These direct replacement upgrades eliminate the sound-deadening element of the factory pipe, resulting in the natural voice of the intake/turbo to be noticeably restored. While impressive on its own, coupled with a Dinan intake the full uninhibited chorus of the entire system is put on display for everyone's enjoyment. Beyond sound suppression the OEM intake resonator also hinders flow with its disruptive multi-directional flow path. This obstructive factory component is instead replaced by larger diameter, durable, and lightweight smooth-bore aluminum piping that not only improves flow but minimizes pressure drop for improved turbo efficiency.
