Holley Sniper EFI HyperSpark Distributor Kits
Holley Sniper EFI HyperSpark distributor kits were designed to make upgrading your ignition on a Sniper EFI-equipped engine simple. When installed concurrently with a new Sniper EFI system, the combination creates the easiest way to install EFI conversion on the market—and only four flying lead connections are required! The harness only requires one connection to a switched power source, battery positive, battery negative, and fuel pump power. The pre-terminated connectors and a built in 40A relay provides power to all of the components within the system. With the included Sniper EFI main harness you no longer need to run multiple wires to provide switched power for each individual component, which not only helps prevent wiring confusion, but it will also speed up your install time and clean up your engine bay. Simply route the harness and pre-terminated connectors to your HyperSpark coil, distributor, and ignition box and plug them in. MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run distributors are the perfect upgrade for weak OE electronic distributors, outdated points distributors, and large HEIs or DuraSparks. All that's required is to install the distributor in the engine, and connect three wires and the coil! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition with increased output from the amplifier, easily outperforming stock ignitions. It will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting, and perform at a much higher rpm. The housing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, using state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes for a unit with no porosity or weak areas. For stability and endurance, an oversized steel shaft spins in a top-mounted sealed ball bearing, while an extra-long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing. Lakewood Safety Bellhousings
Lakewood safety bellhousings are designed for maximum performance and durability. They are cut on CNC 5 axis laser cutters rather than plasma cutters to improve finish quality, reduce heat damage and warpage from the plasma cutter, improve speed of manufacture, and make them all exactly the same. All bellhousings feature a scalloped plate on the bottom of the transmission surface made from G70 grade steel (70,000) psi which will help eliminate stripping the transmission bolts. The engine plates are made of H60 grade material and the bells are roto-brated after welding to relive any stresses created from the hydro forming, annealing, or welding process prior to machining and painting. The roto-brating process also closes the metal on the outer surface making them stronger. Ever wonder how the SFI tests bellhousings like these Lakewood safety bellhousings? First, they bolt the bellhousing to a machine with a cast iron flywheel and saw inside it. Then they spin the flywheel, causing the saw to cut through it until it explodes.
