Clayton Machine Works gated automatic transmission shifters have all the elements of great style. What is a gated shifter? Well, instead of just relying on the internal shift detents in the transmission to stop in gear and hold it there, a gated shifter has a series of paths, stops or "gates" to control the free shifting from one gear to another. These gated-style automatic transmission shifters are available in floor mount only option, however, they can be converted to cable operation with optional conversion kit (sold separately). The gated-style, side shift detent pattern allows for unlimited knob options, and the innovative lever design allows for easy removal and 360 degree rotation. Yep, it's all about the details!
