TeraFlex NP231 short shaft kits, or slip yoke eliminators, with new heavy-duty shafts, are engineered to withstand the 50 percent increase in torque generated by the extreme reduction of the Tera Low231 gears. These kits also eliminate the need to lower the transfer case in most cases by increasing the rear driveshaft length by 4 in. They include a larger output bearing and rear housing.
