Doug's Headers

Doug's Headers has long been recognized of as one of the premiere exhaust header manufacturers in the performance industry. Since1958, they have been producing high-quality, hand-built, mandrel-bent exhaust headers. Each and every header is tuned with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all of the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, and resulting in dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. Doug's headers are carefully developed on the vehicles that they are intended to fit and are re-checked numerous times during the design and manufacturing process. Their designs include mid-length headers, Tri-Y headers, and long tube headers, plus manifold replacement headers. Their headers come with all the necessary mounting hardware, collector reducers or connector pipes, premium extra-thick gaskets, and detailed installation instruction sheets. The gaskets are rated up to 1100 degrees F, pressures to 3700 psig (255 bar), and are designed for an exact port match with their headers. Doug's Headers offer a choice of finishes: * Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC), which is polished with a vibratory finishing process that not only produces a high-luster aluminum appearance, but also compresses and activates the coating, which increases the surface hardness. The finish is 60 percent more corrosion resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier that significantly lowers under hood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. * Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC. This finish provides good corrosion and heat protection when compared to many of the "cheaper" header finishes being applied by our competitors. * Raw steel is available for individual customizing Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.

MagnaFlow Universal Catalytic Converters

MagnaFlow universal catalytic converters by Car Sound form the basic building blocks for many applications. The main benefit of universal catalytic converters is that one unit may cover a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. Installing universal converters often requires the use of welding, cutting, and tube-bending equipment that is readily available to most professional installers. They are extremely well made, with features such as: * A ribbed body that minimizes expansion and distortion when the converter heats up. They form a channel that protects the cushioning mat from direct exposure to exhaust gasses, and hold the ceramic catalyst in proper alignment. * A 1/2 in. lap joint where the necks meet the body. The neck does not extend into the converter body, where it could hamper exhaust flow. * Manufactured with separate dies on different sized inlets. Putting larger neck sizes on smaller bodies would reduce the flow of the converter and the quality of the product. * A monolithic honeycomb catalyst. The ceramic is designed for maximum flow and surface area. The coating method is strictly controlled to maintain exact specifications. * Seam-welded close to the converter body for a strong, tight bond. Welding along the edge could allow the converter to expand like the folds in an accordion, allowing the catalyst to move around. * Heavier-gauge stainless steel, tip-to-tip. They do not use inferior mixed weights and materials. * An aluminized or stainless OEM-style ribbed heat shield that creates a rigid wall of protection against heat and adds to the structural stability of the converter.

ARB Air Locker Differentials

A 4x4 and traction go hand-in-hand; however, standard (open) differentials allow each wheel to turn independently to eliminate binding in turns. Off-road, this becomes a problem as engine power takes the path of least resistance—to the wheel with little or no traction. Limited slip differentials offer some improvement, but too often the slipping is not "limited" enough to maintain forward progress. Automatic locking differentials also have disadvantages; noisy when disengaging, they can also upset on-highway driving characteristics. Created to provide traction on demand, without sacrificing highway driving performance, ARB Air Locker differentials employ a 12 V ARB air compressor (sold separately) to pneumatically operate a solid and durable locking mechanism inside the differential. When activated, the Air Locker prevents the differential gears from rotating and the axle shafts from turning independently of each other. With both wheels tied directly to the rotation of the ring gear, the vehicle maintains maximum possible traction at all times. When unlocked, it operates just like a conventional open differential. ARB Air Lockers are available in over 100 configurations for a wide range of vehicles and can be installed in both front and rear axles. Installation should be performed by a qualified differential technician, although no special tools or skills are required, apart from those necessary for fitting a standard differential. ARB also offers three compressor models suitable for Air Locker operation, two of which can be used to inflate tires and operate other equipment. Additional features of ARB Air Lockers include: * Vastly improved traction means less reliance on momentum, reducing the likelihood of vehicle damage * Easy, convenient operation without leaving the comfort and safety of the driver's seat * Ultra durable and extremely strong; only the highest quality materials used in construction * Patented gear technology and 2-piece design ensures optimal locking strength * Forged gears provide superior strength and durability * Incredibly simple, yet effective, design employs minimal moving parts for maximum reliability * Thoroughly tested and proven * Most sold as kits with differential, activation switch, solenoid valve, air line, and bulkhead fittings * Front and rear Air Lockers available for most makes and models * For 4WD and 2WD applications * Easy maintenance; no special additives required * Also offered in ARB Traction Packs that include two Air Lockers, a compressor, and accessories for tire inflation

MagnaFlow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters

MagnaFlow direct-fit catalytic converters are designed for easy bolt-on installation for the professional installer. Welding, cutting, and tube-bending equipment are not required. These cats feature a ribbed body that minimizes expansion and distortion when the converters heat up. The ribs form a channel that protects the cushioning mat from direct exposure to exhaust gases, and they hold the ceramic catalyst in proper alignment. MagnaFlow converters use a monolithic honeycomb catalyst; the ceramic coating is designed for maximum flow and surface area, and the coating method is strictly controlled to maintain exact specifications. Improper coating could result in flow restrictions or an emissions test failure. These converters are designed to exact OE specifications and are available for the most popular vehicle makes and models.
