They feature larger piston diameters, which increase the torque output of the steering gear—allowing your rig to overcome steering issues due to larger tires and/or locking differentials that you've installed. PSC Big Bore XD units are assembled using all new components and featuring their exclusive new gear housing--not reworked core housings, but 100 percent new cast and machined housings. Featuring a set of Fox 2.0 IFP (internal floating piston) gas shocks, BDS lift kits may also include either ProRide coil springs for improved ride quality and more articulation, Glideride leaf springs to provide full lift height and increased capacity, or steel blocks and add-a-leaf for a level stance from front to rear.
