Improved Racing CCS Oil Catch Can Kits

Improved Racing set out to design the best air-oil separating catch cans specifically for the factory supercharged vehicles. Focused on three simple design goals: maximized efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the development of the CCS oil catch cans happened over several years and included ANSYS Fluent CFD simulations, extensive bench tests, and on-vehicle street and track tests. Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Cans

Mishimoto baffled oil catch cans are designed to separate oil particles from the PCV air that would normally have just been routed back to your intake. They feature custom grooves in the catch can's inlet that turbulates the air longer and ensures that all of the oil sinks to the bottom, leaving nothing but clean air to pass through the 40 micron bronze filter to the intake. An internal baffle keeps the collected oil from splashing around under race conditions. These catch cans are machined from 100 percent billet 6061 aluminum, and accept AN fittings at the inlet, outlet, and drain area—allowing for over 27 possible configurations.
