MechMan S Series 6-phase alternators offer incredible output in a compact and durable package. The 240 amp models offer the best balance between peak output, and output at engine idle RPM; while the 320 amp models are all about max power and not designed to charge at low idle speeds. Both S Series alternators feature 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates, and outstanding airflow ensure long service life, even in severe conditions. These units come equipped with a smaller 1.75 in. diameter alternator pulley, and will require a slightly shorter drive belt to be installed for proper belt tension.
