The lobe profile and grind characteristics of these Thumpr camshafts use a combination of an early exhaust valve opening, a long exhaust duration, and a generous amount of intake and exhaust overlap to maximize the rough-idling characteristics of the cams. This gives you a seriously aggressive exhaust note without negatively impacting the power output or streetability of the engine. Thumpr camshafts are available in different grind profiles; each one will produce a rough, racy exhaust note and impressive amounts of horsepower and torque within a different rpm range. Hays Street 650 clutch conversion kits are designed to handle highly modified engines up to 650 hp naturally aspirated (600 hp for forced induction and nitrous combinations). The new 26-spline versions work in conjunction with a modern 5- or 6-speed transmission swap. These are true street/strip clutches for spirited high performance driving or frequent track use. The high performance dual-friction disc utilized in the Street 650 has an upgraded spring hub with heavy-duty damper springs to handle greater shock loads versus a standard damper spring.
