MSD 6-MOD Ford Modular Engine Controller

The 6-Mod Ignition Controller was originally developed for the 4.6 and 5.4-liter modular motors that were fed through a carburetor rather than an electronic fuel injection system. However, with the useful options that the 6-Mod provides, such as two rev limits, a step retard and easy control over the timing, the EFI people wanted a way to take advantage of the adjustment. The harness kit provides a splice-free installation of the MSD 6-Mod Controller to factory equipped EFI vehicles making installation a snap. All of the connectors plug directly to the factory units so there is no cutting or splicing of your factory wires. At their heart is a "bracket-less" mounting design—the accessories mount directly to a uniquely designed timing cover for a clean, integrated form. This product offers superb engine visibility to show off your engine, not unsightly accessory brackets. The premium alternator utilizes 6-phase technology as found on the C7 Corvette and only requires a one-wire hookup.
