Twisted Wedge® 11R 227 cylinder heads represent Trick Flow's ultimate development of the Twisted Wedge® innovation, featuring Trick Flow's most efficient combustion chamber design. The combustion chamber and valve layout move the intake valves away from the cylinder walls to reduce valve shrouding, significantly improving flow at higher lift. Shallow 11° intake/13° exhaust valve angles improve piston-to-valve clearance for high lift cams and reduce chamber volume for improved compression and efficiency. High velocity runners are optimized on the flow bench and dyno proven to outperform the competition on hydraulic roller camshaft engines. Premium materials and components, along with world-class CNC processes, guarantee uncompromising quality and durability, dimensional accuracy, and balanced flow from port-to-port. Machined castings increase strength and have a billet-like appearance. The heads feature fully CNC competition ported runners with a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum, all-out performance The exhaust runners are raised .100" from the stock location to improve the short turn radius and dramatically improve exhaust flow, and a revised oil return system improves oil drain back and includes provisions for mating with Ford 351W blocks. PowerPort Cleveland 225 cylinder heads fit Ford 351C, 351M, and 400M engines out of the box. They feature unique valve spacing, .750" raised exhaust runners, extra strong castings and thick decks for additional rigidity and gasket integrity, superior cooling characteristics, and most importantly, excellent airflow. Top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners with a high resolution surface finish provide maximum airflow and power over the entire rpm range.
