These Quick Fuel SS-Series carburetors are designed to offer the power of a race carburetor in a streetable package that weighs 5 lbs. less than other carburetors. Manufactured completely from aluminum, they allow you to change the idle feed and offer power valve channel restrictions and idle and high-speed air bleeds for the ultimate in tunability. The solid-state, electric-choke Quick Fuel SS-Series carburetors have billet throttle bodies, billet metering blocks, 4-corner idle systems, secondary jet extensions, and notched secondary floats. The vacuum secondary carburetors feature fuel bowls with a single-sight glass window, while the mechanical secondary carburetors have dual-inlet, dual-sight glass 4500-style fuel bowls and include additional links to tune the secondary opening rate. MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run Distributors
MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run distributors are the perfect upgrade for weak OE electronic distributors, outdated points distributors, and large HEIs or DuraSparks. All that's required is to install the distributor in the engine, and connect three wires and the coil! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition with increased output from the amplifier, easily outperforming stock ignitions. It will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting, and perform at a much higher rpm. The housing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, using state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes for a unit with no porosity or weak areas. For stability and endurance, an oversized steel shaft spins in a top-mounted sealed ball bearing, while an extra-long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing. This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for low friction wear and resistance against corrosion from humidity and ozone buildup. The distributors feature MSD's adjustable mechanical advance, which allows you to custom-tailor an ignition curve to match your engine's needs. Edelbrock Ford flathead cylinder heads feature your choice of the original Edelbrock script logo or the block-style logo. Designed for both Fords and Mercurys, these heads are rugged, ribbed internally and externally, with a large water capacity, and excellent breathing characteristics. Available with 74 cc or 65 cc chamber volumes, the 65cc heads support an 8.0:1 compression ratio on blocks with a 3/16 in. base relief (stock bore and stroke); compression ratio increase is approximately 3/10 of a percent with each 1/8 in. of stroke increase. The high lift/large chamber versions feature a new "raised roof" combustion chamber design and are CNC-machined for high lift cams. Perfect for reducing compression in supercharger applications or for low octane fuel, they offer increased valve clearance and improved flow capacity. Match these heads with Edelbrock's popular Ford flathead intake manifolds. Edelbrock Ford flathead cylinder heads are cast at the Edelbrock foundry in the USA of T-6 tempered A356 aluminum. High performance Quick Fuel Black Diamond Q-Series 2-barrel carburetors have been engineered for circle track applications. They feature a high-flow aluminum main body with centered venturi for improved fuel distribution and efficiency. An anti-siphon check valve in the main body helps to reduce pump pullover, and the straight leg boosters enable higher airflow. Q-Series carbs have changeable emulsion bleeds and power valve channel restrictions for better tuning capabilities, as well as adjustable idle mixture screws, power valve blowout protection, and built-in dual sight glass windows for easy float adjustment. The unique PTFE coating provides a highly durable black satin finish; it's impact- and scratch-resistant, and impervious to underhood chemicals. Patriot Lakester headers adds nostalgia to your hot rod. Their classic Lakester design allows for hookup to an under chassis exhaust system, but by removing the provided block-off plates you can easily uncork your headers. Finishes available for Patriot Lakester headers: * Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC), which is polished with a vibratory finishing process that not only produces a high-luster aluminum appearance, but also compresses and activates the coating, which increases the surface hardness. The finish is 60 percent more corrosion resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier (heat-resistant up to 1,600 degrees F) that significantly lowers under hood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. * Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC. This finish provides good corrosion and heat protection when compared to many of the "cheaper" header finishes being applied by our competitors. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.
