Instead of conventional needle bearings, which can be crushed or break under extreme loads, Excalibur Competition joints feature a proprietary bushing material that can survive under extreme pressure. Because of their design, they are not recommended for highway speed and should only be used on applications that are equipped with locking hubs if the vehicle is driven on the street. Available for popular front axle shaft joints, the Excalibur joints replace conventional 297X and 760X Spicer joints, as well as larger 806X and 733X joints.
