Flaming River 1965-70 Mustang power rack and pinion cradle kits can upgrade your classic Pony's steering system. The patented conversion kits are stronger, lighter, and more responsive. They also retain the full factory turning radius and offer more travel than your OE system! Mustang power cradle kits feature a welded cradle that bolts right in—no cutting, drilling, or welding is required! They're available to fit with the original or Granada spindles, and come with or without columns that are paintable or polished. Each kit also includes mounting hardware, wiring connectors, universal joints, a power steering pump, a billet bracket and pulley, and a polished aluminum reservoir. Flaming River 2015-20 Mustang manual rack and pinions are a great way to streamline the engine to the compartment while maintaining smooth, responsive steering. They're lighter than the OEM EPAS (electronic power assisted steering) S550 Mustang power systems, and depending on specifications, will reduce vehicle weight by 10 to 15 lbs. by eliminating hoses, pulleys, and pumps. Plus, they have billet aluminum mounting brackets that can also be adjusted to modify the pinion angle for large tube headers and engine swaps in custom applications.

Flaming River Mustang Power Rack and Pinions
These Flaming River Mustang power rack and pinions are perfect for street rods, musclecars, and as stock replacements in Ford products that use the Mustang II front steer design. They offer over 6 in. of rack travel, which provides the maximum turning radius for classic and street rod applications. Inside, the pinion gear set is improved over the OE factory design and is engineered to provide ultimate strength characteristics. Outside, they are significantly different from previous designs. The Flaming River Mustang II power rack and pinions use a billet aluminum spool valve housing with a heat sink design for lower operating temperatures. They also feature a longer rack piston tube for added strength and increased rack stability. Their low-profile pressure hose design reduces most installation obstacles. They are light, yet strong, weighing 12 lbs. less than the original stock cast racks. Available with a matched, speed-sensitive power steering pump with V-belt or serpentine pulleys, the Flaming River Mustang II power rack and pinions make an excellent steering choice for your ride.
