Summit Racing™ billet electronic Mopar distributors convert your old points ignition to a new modern electronic breaker-less system. These distributors offer these benefits: improved timing and dwell control; higher energy at the spark plug for easier starting; improved throttle response; extended RPM range; and better efficiency, along with increased spark plug life. The distributor bodies are CNC-machined from forged 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and come with a glass fiber reinforced (PBT) tan cap (which is patterned after the OEM dual point cap)—with extra internal voltage dams that help to prevent crossfire while resisting carbon tracking.
