This gives you racetrack shifts and shaves time off your ETs. Each transmission goes through a variety of tests to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristic match TCI's strict quality control standards. For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kick-down components must be connected. RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits are precision-balanced for smooth operation—and come equipped with a billet cover for optimum release length, a comfortable pedal effort, and a high diaphragm finger position for excellent high-RPM shifting capability. The sprung hub top disc absorbs shock and reduces driveline noise. Pro Street kits are available with your choice of an organic friction disc or a metallic disc. Organic disc models are capable of handling 500 to 800 hp; the metallic disc models can handle between 600 and 1,200 hp. RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits include a billet aluminum, SFI-certified flywheel with a steel insert that has sufficient mass to draw heat away from the clutch without distortion.
