TCI StreetFighter automatic transmission packages are durable enough to withstand the rigors of even the toughest street machines. Using the highest quality TCI manufactured components, each StreetFighter package is equipped with an automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. This gives you racetrack shifts and shaves time off your ETs. Each transmission goes through a variety of tests to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristic match TCI's strict quality control standards. For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kick-down components must be connected. Each transmission package consists of a triple-tested TCI transmission and precision-tuned torque converter, a universal transmission cooler and premium TCI RTF transmission fluid. These packages are available with a variety of transmission models and other performance options. Choose the package for your application needs.

They feature special heat-treated races and sprags, high-performance clutches and bands, and improved lubrication. RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits are precision-balanced for smooth operation—and come equipped with a billet cover for optimum release length, a comfortable pedal effort, and a high diaphragm finger position for excellent high-RPM shifting capability. The sprung hub top disc absorbs shock and reduces driveline noise. Pro Street kits are available with your choice of an organic friction disc or a metallic disc. Organic disc models are capable of handling 500 to 800 hp; the metallic disc models can handle between 600 and 1,200 hp. RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits include a billet aluminum, SFI-certified flywheel with a steel insert that has sufficient mass to draw heat away from the clutch without distortion. American Powertrain ProFit Tremec TKX manual transmissions and installation kits put the power to the pavement with unmatched durability and versatility. Tremec has normally sourced their aftermarket transmissions from the OE side, such as the Magnum T-56 and the T-5, but this new design is made from the ground up as a strictly aftermarket transmission. Designed to fit classic muscle cars and customs, the TKX has a tighter, more streamlined case, and features 600 lbs.-ft. of torque capacity and are capable of engines speeds of 8,000 rpm with shifts at 7,500 rpm. The compact design provides clearance in most transmission tunnels without floor modifications, while case strength has increased from previous models with the new 3-piece aluminum housing and gaskets at all flanges simplifies installation and eliminates fluid leaks.
