These Summit Racing™ exhaust gaskets are made from thick copper, and feature an embossed ridge around the exhaust port for a tight, leakproof seal. The copper gaskets help even out the flow between the head and header flange to minimize warping. Also, they'll conform to rough or irregular surfaces to maintain a positive seal, while keeping the header bolts tight.

Typical aftermarket exhaust manifold bolts are much shorter than stock which after numerous heat cycles can cause them to fatigue and start to stretch, leading to exhaust leaks and possible breakage after repeated re-torques. The finish and coating on most of these bolts can also lead to premature corrosion and zinc embrittlement. Replace damaged or corroded exhaust manifold bolts with BD Diesel class 10.9 bolts and spacers which improve thermal durability to stand up to the heat and non-Zinc plated fasteners prevent zinc embrittlement. To provide a tight seal, we include Stage 8's Grade 8 locking header bolts. They use a patented system that consists of a grooved hex head bolt, a retainer, and a snap clip. The retainer fits over the bolt head and locks the bolt against the header tube, and the snap clip holds the retainer in place.
